Hadzabe bushmen is one of the last true ancient hunter-gatherers society in Africa. Hadzabe dwell in northern Tanzania around lake Eyasi bordering Ngorongoro conservation area and Serengeti national park. Historian say Hadzabe tribe have been living here for more than 10,000 years.

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania: Arrive Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

Meet on arrival at Kilimanjaro international Airport, after brief introduction transfer to Arusha African Tulip Hotel/or similar.  Rest of the day is at leisure. Optional activities including visiting nearby Arusha National Park can be arranged at your request. (Bed and Breakfast B, B).

Day 2: Arusha – Lake Eyasi

After breakfast drive to Lake Eyasi. The journey which takes you towards Ngorongoro Crater before diverting driving down a track to the remote Lake Eyasi, one of the Soda Lakes that bejewel the Rift Valley. The Lake is also part of the former reserve of the elusive Hadzabe tribe, who you look forward to meet with and learn more about their fascinating culture. Picnic lunch then go for Dagota village tour returning in the evening for dinner & overnight at Tindiga Tented Camp (Full Board B,L ,D)

Day 3: Lake Eyasi

Depart for Lake Eyasi Safari with your bushman guide who will take you to the groups of resident Hadzabe people. The Hadzabe are hunter-gatherers, also known as Bushmen, who speak a click-based language and move their encampments with the seasonal movements of the wildlife. Your guide is a member of the group and teaches you more about how they hunt, track wildlife , make fire and even take honey from bees nests before introducing you to his people and explaining a little more about the customs and their way of life. Return to your camp for lunch then afternoon proceeds with more activity. Dinner and overnight at Tindiga Tented Camp (Full Board B, L, D)

Days 4 & 5: Full days with Hadzabe tribe

It is another early start this morning, as we’ll wake up at dawn to visit the village and interact more with the Hadzabe . You’ll watch as the local hunters demonstrate their hunting techniques for us. No stylized display, this performance is a revealing look into their everyday lives in which they must hunt local animals to feed their families. You will be asked to watch quietly and stay as still as possible as they demonstrate how they attract their prey using distinct motions and even the body parts of other animals. Using poisons they make themselves, they will bring down food for breakfast while the women gather fruits, vegetables, and herbs.We will return to the camp to eat our late breakfast and then head back with picnic lunches to join the Hadzabe as we explore more of their culture. Dinner and over night at Tindiga Tented Camp. (Full Board B, L, D)

Day 6: Ngorongoro

After breakfast we will join the Hadzabe for more cultural activity. Soon it will be lunch time after which sadly it will be time to say our farewells, before embarking on the drive to Ngorongoro conservation area, where we will arrive in time for dinner and overnight at Rhino Lodge. Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast descend into the crater wall which measure about 2000ft to the floor for a whole day crater tour. Picnic lunch will be served in the picnic site on the crater and then ascend the crater wall. Overnight at Rhino lodge (Full Board B, L ,D)

Day 8: Oldupai Gorge and return to Arusha

After breakfast drive to Olduvai  Gorge the cradle of Mankind with picnic lunch ,  site of archeological findings, where traces of pre-historic man dating back to 3.5 million years have been discovered. After lunch drive back to Arusha arriving towards dusk. Your overnight destination is the African Tulip Hotel . Dinner is on your own arrangement (Half Board B, L)

Day 9: Kilimanjaro

Enjoy a leisurely morning with breakfast at your own time. A day room is provided for your relaxation and refreshment as you repack ready for your flight back home. Lunch on your own arrangement.Departure for Kilimanjaro airport is with a piece of African in your heart. You may leave, but Africa shall never leave you. (Bed and Breakfast B)
